Role Description
The Owner role at Google Developer Group on Campus - SBU is a contract, remote position responsible for leading and managing the overall direction of the community. Day-to-day tasks include planning and coordinating events, workshops, and talks, as well as organizing project-building activities aligned with developer technologies and campus needs.



The Owner collaborates with core team members, student volunteers, and external speakers, ensuring clear communication, smooth logistics, and engaging programming. This role involves promoting events, managing online platforms and communication channels, and gathering feedback to improve future initiatives. The Owner also fosters an inclusive environment, supports member growth, and represents the group in collaborations with campus organizations and broader developer communities.
