Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Professor to teach Food Science & Nutrition courses, conduct laboratory sessions, mentor students, and contribute to research and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver theory and practical classes in Food Science & Nutrition.
Prepare lesson plans, laboratory manuals, and teaching materials.
Conduct laboratory sessions while ensuring laboratory safety standards.
Evaluate assignments, practicals, projects, and examinations.
Guide students in research projects and internships.
Organize nutrition awareness programmes, workshops, and seminars.
Participate in curriculum planning and departmental activities.
Maintain laboratory equipment and academic records.
Publish research papers in reputed journals.
Support NAAC, LIC, IQAC, and other accreditation activities.




Perform examination duties and other academic responsibilities assigned by the institution.

Qualification

PG Degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
NET/SLET/SET qualification preferred.
Ph.D. in the relevant discipline is desirable.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized college or university.
Experience in laboratory teaching and student mentoring is preferred.
Experience in research and accreditation activities is an added advantage.
