As an Instructional Designer within our Global Learning Operations Team, you will be responsible for end-to-end content development that transforms complex source materials into engaging, effective learning solutions. You will apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create scalable, learner-centric content across digital and instructor-led formats. This role is critical to ensuring AXA XL's learning offerings meet consistent quality standards and deliver measurable impact.

What you’ll be doing

What will your essential responsibilities include?

Conduct comprehensive needs analysis and learning requirements gathering with subject matter experts and business stakeholders.
Review and synthesize complex source materials, regulatory documents, and business content into transparent learning objectives.
Develop instructional design strategies aligned with adult learning principles (andragogy) and AXA XL learning standards.
Create detailed content outlines, learning maps, and storyboards that guide development.




Design engaging learning experiences for multiple formats: e-learning modules, instructor-led training, blended solutions, and digital learning journeys.
Apply instructional design best practices (ADDIE, SAM, or similar methodologies) to ensure content effectiveness.
Develop assessment strategies and evaluation tools to measure learning outcomes and business impact..
Create learner-centric content that balances compliance requirements with engagement and retention.
Partner with Global Learning Operations Manager, Media Designers, and subject matter experts to ensure seamless content development.
Facilitate design reviews and stakeholder validation sessions, incorporating feedback iteratively.
Maintain quality standards through peer review and adherence to AXA XL learning brand guidelines.
Support rollout coordination by providing facilitator guides, learner communications, and implementation support.
