8 10 years of hands-on Microsoft SQL Server database administration experience.
Sound working knowledge of MSSQL database architecture and internals.
Demonstrable experience managing multiple SQL Server versions in production (2005 through 2016).
Proven experience with Always On high-availability configurations, replication and CDC.
Solid query and server-level performance tuning capability.
Practical experience administering the SQL Server BI stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS).
Exposure to cloud-hosted SQL Server platforms - Amazon RDS, Microsoft Azure or equivalent.
PowerShell scripting for task automation.
Working knowledge of ITIL / ITSM processes.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with prior client-facing experience.
Willingness and availability to support a rotational on-call schedule outside business hours.
