Responsible for
Purchase of raw materials (especially steels) and follow up with suppliers for deliveries.
Identification of sub-contractors / Vendors and distribution of job orders.
Recent vendor identification.
Follow up with vendors for sub-contractor items and ensuring timely deliveries.
Identification and supply of bought out items.
Issuing purchase orders and contracts.
Coordination with stores for material work flow.
AS9100 relating to purchase.
Must be conversant with material specifications, machining methods and qualities.
