Role & responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for powder coatings.
Identify and develop current customers in industrial and commercial segments.
Increase market share within the assigned territory.
Develop and execute territory sales plans to maximize business growth.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, fabricators, architects, metal furniture manufacturers, appliance manufacturers, and general industrial customers.
Conduct regular customer visits to understand business requirements.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Handle customer queries and resolve commercial issues promptly.
Dealer & Channel Management
Appoint, develop, and manage dealers and distributors.
Ensure adequate inventory availability through channel partners.
Monitor dealer performance and implement business development initiatives.
Conduct dealer meetings and product awareness programs.
Technical & Product Support
Coordinate with the Technical Service team for product trials and application support.
Support customers during current product approvals and qualifications.
Assist in resolving product performance and application-related issues.
Promote current products and value-added coating solutions.
Business Planning & Reporting
Prepare sales forecasts and demand plans.
Maintain accurate sales reports, customer visit reports, and pipeline updates.
Track order execution, collections, and inventory movement.
Ensure timely submission of MIS reports.
Collection & Credit Control
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
Monitor customer credit limits and overdue accounts.
Coordinate with finance teams for payment reconciliation.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Technical Service, Quality, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Coordinate product availability and delivery schedules.
Provide customer feedback to support product improvements.
