Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced, hands-on Accountant who can independently own the day-to-day books of accounts, statutory compliance, and MIS reporting. You will work closely with the founders and be the go-to person for everything related to accounting accuracy, tax compliance, and financial reporting.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesBooks of AccountsMaintain complete and accurate books of accounts in Tally (Prime/ERP 9)Record day-to-day transactions: sales, purchases, expenses, journal entries, bank entriesPerform monthly bank reconciliations and ledger scrutinyManage accounts payable and receivable, vendor reconciliations, and ageing reportsAssist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of booksGST & E-Way BillingGenerate e-way bills and e-invoices for outbound shipments (B2B and bulk orders)Prepare and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B; reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase registerHandle GST input credit reconciliation and follow up with vendors on mismatchesTDS & Direct TaxCompute and deduct TDS on salaries, contractor payments, rent, qualified fees, etc.Timely deposit of TDS and filing of quarterly TDS returns (24Q, 26Q)Issue Form 16 / 16A and resolve TRACES defaults/noticesCoordinate with CA for advance tax, income tax filings, and assessmentsPayroll Compliance (EPFO / ESIC)Process monthly EPF and ESIC contributions and challans via EPFO/ESIC portalsManage UAN generation, KYC updates, employee additions/exits on the portalSupport payroll processing: salary computations, overtime, F&F; settlementsEnsure compliance with PT (if applicable) and labour-related statutory paymentsMIS & ReportingPrepare monthly MIS reports: P&L;, cash flow, expense analysis, revenue dashboardsTrack budgets vs.



actuals and flag variances to managementMaintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedulesSupport founders with ad-hoc financial analysis and data for decision-makingAudit & CoordinationCoordinate with statutory auditors and CA firm for annual audit and filingsMaintain proper documentation, vouchers, and audit trailsSupport ROC/MCA compliance documentation as neededRequired Skills & QualificationsB.Com/M.Com/ CA Inter (or equivalent) with 3–6 years of hands-on accounting experienceStrong command of Tally(Prime or ERP 9) — non-negotiablePractical experience withe-way bill and e-invoice portalsSolid working knowledge ofGST returns, TDS provisions, and quarterly filingsHands-on experience withEPFO and ESIC portalsand payroll complianceProficiency inMS Excel / Google Sheets(VLOOKUP, pivot tables, MIS formats)High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet statutory deadlines independentlyComfortable working in a fast-paced, founder-led environmentGood to HaveExperience in e-commerce, publishing, printing, or D2C businessesFamiliarity with Amazon/Flipkart marketplace settlements and reconciliationExposure to inventory accounting and inter-state dispatchesExperience handling GST/IT department notices independentlyWhat We OfferCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience)5-day work week with fixed 10 AM – 6 PM hours — we respect your timeDirect exposure to founders and end-to-end ownership of the accounts functionA profitable, stable, growing company — no funding-dependent uncertaintyTo Apply:Send your CV to [email protected] with the subject line "Application – Accountant" along with your current CTC, expected CTC, and notice period.
