Industrial Designer – Product Visualization & Design Communication (m/f/d)

Full-time Position | Mumbai, India

We are seeking a talented, detail-oriented Industrial Designer who can contribute both to next-generation product design as well as visual/graphic design outputs. You will play a key role in shaping the future of HEI’s global product portfolio — from solar masts and outdoor lighting systems to IoT-integrated green infrastructure.

Working closely with our engineering teams in India and Europe, you will transform technical concepts into high-quality visual content that supports product development, customer proposals, exhibitions and global marketing initiatives. You will also contribute to the evolution of HEI's design language while preserving the premium European identity the company has established over the years.

We're looking for someone who not only designs great products but can also bring them to life through compelling visual storytelling and world-class marketing communication.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop innovative industrial design concepts for HEI's solar lighting, smart poles, photovoltaic products and urban infrastructure solutions from ideation through design refinement.
- Define and evolve the visual design language,



aesthetics and product identity across HEI's global product portfolio while maintaining the premium European character of the brand.
- Create concept sketches, mood boards, design studies and product proposals to support new product development and innovation.
- Produce high-quality photorealistic product renderings, animations and exploded views for design reviews, product launches and technical communication.
- Develop architectural and landscape visualizations showcasing HEI products in real-world applications such as streets, parks, campuses, public spaces and smart city environments.
- Create marketing and visual communication materials including brochures, catalogues, product sheets, exhibition graphics, standees, posters, presentations, website graphics and digital media to effectively communicate HEI's products and technology.
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical and system engineering teams to ensure product concepts are aesthetically refined, technically feasible and aligned with engineering objectives.
- Contribute to the development of HEI's global branding by ensuring consistency across product design, visualization and marketing collateral.
- Stay up to date with global trends in industrial design, architecture, outdoor lighting, urban infrastructure, materials and visualization to continuously bring fresh ideas into HEI's product development.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Architecture or a related design discipline.
- 3–6 years of professional experience in industrial design, product visualization, architectural visualization or design communication.




- Strong portfolio demonstrating product design, concept development, visualization and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in one or more 3D modelling and visualization tools such as Solid Works, Rhino, Blender, Key Shot, 3ds Max or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
- Experience in creating architectural visualizations, landscape renderings and product application scenes.
- Experience or interest in outdoor products, lighting, renewable energy, or smart city solutions is a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of product development, manufacturing processes and materials.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, proportion, colour, composition and visual communication.
- Ability to independently develop ideas from concept through presentation with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good spoken and written English.
