Furnika is a growing furniture manufacturing brand specializing in *modular kitchens, wardrobes and thoughtfully engineered furniture solutions*. With in-house manufacturing, we bring design and production together to create furniture that is refined in appearance, intelligent in function and precise in execution.
We are looking for a *Furniture Designer* who combines creative thinking with strong technical understanding — someone who can take a concept beyond a beautiful render and turn it into a design that can be manufactured accurately.
Your Role
You will be responsible for designing modular kitchens and wardrobes as well as a broader range of residential and customized furniture, including:
TV Units • Beds • Dressing Units • Study Tables • Crockery Units • Sideboards • Bookshelves • Shoe Racks • Storage Solutions & Custom Furniture
You will work across the complete design cycle:
*Requirement → Concept → 3D Design → Working Drawing → BOQ → Production → Installation*
Key Responsibilities
* Understand customer requirements, lifestyle, aesthetics and site conditions.
* Develop functional, contemporary and production-feasible furniture designs.
* Create accurate 2D layouts, elevations, sections and detailed working drawings.
* Produce high-quality 3D visualizations and customer presentations.
* Prepare or coordinate BOQs, material specifications, hardware and accessories.
* Verify site measurements and dimensional details before production.
* Ensure designs align with manufacturing capabilities, materials and construction methods.
* Coordinate closely with Sales, Production and Factory teams throughout execution.
* Manage revisions efficiently while protecting design intent, functionality and project timelines.
* Support production and installation teams with design-related technical clarification.
* Maintain disciplined project documentation, drawing revisions and design records.
* Contribute to Furnika's evolving design library, standard modules and product development.
What We Expect
* Strong hands-on experience in modular kitchens and wardrobes.
* Ability to design a wide range of residential and customized furniture.
* Proficiency in *AutoCAD*.
* Working knowledge of *Sketch Up or equivalent 3D design software*.
* Good understanding of plywood, MDF, laminates, acrylic, veneers, finishes, hardware and furniture accessories.
* Strong understanding of furniture construction, dimensions, detailing and manufacturability.
* Ability to produce clear, accurate, production-ready drawings.
* Excellent sense of proportion, functionality, aesthetics and space utilization.
* Solid attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
Who We’re Looking For
We prefer designers with hands-on experience in modular furniture, kitchen & wardrobe manufacturing, furniture production or interior/furniture design.
More than a designer who can create beautiful visuals, we are looking for someone who understands how a design is built.
If you can look at a design and immediately think about *dimensions, materials, hardware, construction, cost and production feasibility*, you will fit naturally into Furnika.
Why Furnika?
At Furnika, your designs don't stop at the screen.
They move from concept to drawing, drawing to manufacturing, and manufacturing to a finished space.
You will work closely with an actual manufacturing setup and have the opportunity to shape the design language, product range and furniture solutions of a growing brand.
Compensation: Based on experience, skills and overall suitability.
*To Apply:*
Please share your CV and portfolio, preferably including modular kitchens, wardrobes and other furniture projects.
