Role Overview
We are looking for a creative, research-oriented, and detail-driven Museologist/ interpretation designer to contribute to museum, cultural, heritage, and exhibition projects. The role involves research, interpretation, content development, exhibition planning, exhibition design understanding, on-site coordination, and project execution in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead research on collections, heritage, history, culture, and project themes.
2. Develop exhibition narratives, storylines, interpretive content, and visitor experiences.
3. Lead exhibition concept development, curatorial planning, and exhibition design.
4. Lead creation of object lists, captions, labels, timelines, and interpretive materials.
5. Coordinate with curators, historians, designers, architects, artists, vendors,
consultants, and contractors.
6. Coordinate with contractors and site teams during exhibition installation and project execution.
7. Undertake on-site coordination and supervision to ensure alignment with approved designs, content, and project requirements.
8. Assist in collection documentation, cataloguing, and object research.
9. Contribute to exhibition scripts, presentations, reports, and project documentation.
10. Support content development for galleries, museums, cultural spaces, and exhibitions.
11. Participate in site visits, installation reviews, and exhibition execution.
12. Track content revisions, approvals, deliverables, and project timelines.
13. Ensure historical, contextual, and content accuracy across project outputs.
14. Support client and stakeholder meetings and maintain clear follow-ups.
15. Prepare and deliver excellent presentations to clients and stakeholders as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Museology, Museum Studies, History, Archaeology, Heritage Studies, Art History, or a related field./ bachelors in design / architecture / interpretative planning/ similar
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Willingness to travel and undertake site visits or project-related work as required.

- A researcher, storyteller, and cultural thinker with a strong understanding of exhibition design and execution, who can connect history and heritage with engaging visitor experiences and effectively coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, curators, and project teams.
