Role Description The Career Counselor at KALVAG™ supports individuals in identifying suitable career paths, preparing for job searches, and making informed decisions about their professional growth. In this full-time, on-site role based in Visnagar, the Career Counselor conducts one-on-one counseling sessions, assesses skills and interests, and helps clients create personalized career development plans. Daily responsibilities include guiding clients through resume and cover letter preparation, interview readiness, and job search strategies,



while coordinating closely with the recruiting team to align candidates with available opportunities. The role also involves facilitating workshops or information sessions, maintaining accurate case notes and records, and staying updated on labor market trends, industry requirements, and educational pathways to better advise clients.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Career Counseling, Student Counseling, and guiding individuals through career decisions.
- Experience in Career Development and Career Management, including creating structured career plans and growth strategies.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, build trust, and convey complex information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with recruiting teams and employers, while maintaining a client-centered approach.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; advanced certifications in career counseling are an advantage.
- Prior experience in academic advising, career services, staffing, or recruitment is preferred.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with proficiency in basic office software and online job platforms.
