Controls Automation Engineer

1. JOB PURPOSE

To deliver the assigned control automation scope in a project as per schedule with requisite

quality.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES / WHAT WE EXPECT:

• Implementation and testing of automation software components for OneSubsea

production systems and their (industrial communication) interfaces

• Responsibility for conducting simulations, tests, and error analyses to validate the

solutions you develop in our agile work environment

• Migration,



maintenance and enhancements of existing automation components

• Supporting internal customers

• Participation in cross-departmental projects

4. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent.

Educational Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in engineering

• Experience in application development

Functional Skills / Key competencies

• Knowledge in the use of Azure DevOps, Git, Linux, and automation software ( SCADA & HMI )

• Experience with JAMA Connect Software for tracking of Requirements and creation of software

tests

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) is an advantage

• Team player, flexibility, and a structured way of thinking, stress resistance

• Positive communication and English skills

Relevant and total years of Experience

A minimum of 4-8 years of experience

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Self-Driven, Proactive

• Ability to work in Globally Distributed setting without supervision.
