Key Responsibilities

- Pre-Surgery Preparation: Clean, sterilize, and arrange surgical instruments, lights, and tables. Check functionality of anaesthesia machines, suction pumps, and monitors.
- Intra-Operative Assistance: Pass surgical tools to the surgeon or scrub nurse. Monitor patient vital signs and manage technical equipment during the procedure. Count instruments, needles, and gauze accurately.
- Post-Surgery Duties: Safely transfer patients to the recovery room. Clean and disinfect the operating theatre and dispose of biomedical waste according to hospital safety rules. [

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Diploma or B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, surgical tools, and infection control.
- Soft Skills: Ability to stay calm under high stress, communicate clearly, and stand for long hours.
