Job Summary

We are looking for a Solar Operations Executive to support our engineering and project execution teams in ensuring smooth and timely delivery of solar projects.

The role will involve site surveys, project documentation, net-metering processes, DISCOM coordination, approval tracking, customer coordination, and execution support. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, comfortable with field visits, and have a basic understanding of solar project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site surveys and collect relevant technical and project information.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for net-metering and project approvals.
- Coordinate with DISCOMs for applications, approvals, and related processes.
- Assist the engineering team with basic layouts, drawings, and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Track project approvals, submissions, and required follow-ups.
- Coordinate with customers regarding surveys, documentation, approvals, and project updates.




- Support the procurement team with project-related requirements and coordination.
- Assist engineering and execution teams during project commissioning.
- Maintain project trackers and provide regular status updates.
- Ensure all project records and documentation are complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support timely project execution.
- Identify documentation or execution-related issues and ensure timely resolution.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Understanding of solar project operations and execution processes.
- Good documentation and record-management skills.
- Ability to conduct and document site surveys.
- Basic understanding of solar layouts and SLDs.
- Strong coordination and project-tracking skills.
- Positive planning and organizational abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability and ownership mindset.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering, procurement, execution, and customer-facing teams.
- Comfortable with field visits and travel as required.

Technical Skills & Tools

- AutoCAD – Basic knowledge
- PVsyst / HelioScope – Basic knowledge preferred
- MS Office / Excel – Good working knowledge




- Basic understanding of solar PV systems and project documentation.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience in solar operations, project coordination, documentation, or a related role.

Candidates with experience in Solar EPC, rooftop solar, net metering, DISCOM coordination, or solar project execution will be preferred.
