Shabari Cottons Private Limited is looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician holding a valid Wireman License to handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair activities within our textile factory. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out routine electrical maintenance and preventive maintenance of factory equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, control panels, starters, lighting systems, pumps, and other electrical equipment.
- Inspect electrical wiring, connections, panels, cables, switches, and protective devices regularly.
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, power distribution systems, lighting, and industrial electrical equipment.
- Monitor electrical systems and respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies.
- Ensure electrical work is carried out in accordance with applicable safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain proper records of electrical maintenance, repairs, inspections, and breakdowns.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical machinery and equipment.
- Carry out isolation, lockout/tagout, and other safety procedures before electrical maintenance work.
- Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Identify potential electrical hazards and take corrective action.
- Ensure compliance with statutory electrical safety requirements and maintain the validity of the required license.




- Perform any other electrical maintenance duties assigned by the management.

Qualification & Requirements

- Valid Wireman License is mandatory.
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering preferred.
- Previous experience in a textile mill/factory or industrial environment is preferred.
- Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, control panels, starters, contactors, relays, and basic control circuits.
- Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and PPE requirements.
- Ability to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns when required.
- Physically fit and capable of working safely in an industrial environment.

Experience
