Our founder, Deeksha Senguttuvan, spent years working in healthcare and technology, but it was her close interactions with parents that revealed the real gap in paediatric care. Families were either navigating large hospitals with long waits and little personal connection, or relying on scattered, inconsistent care. There had to be a better way.

so in 2024, we began with one clinic and a simple mission: to make paediatric care feel closer, calmer, and kinder.

Today, hoola health is a growing network of neighbourhood clinics offering everything from consultations and vaccinations to developmental assessments and therapy services — all under one roof. We're proud to be open 7 days a week, backed by a team that listens first, treats with heart, and partners with parents every step of the way.

Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Child Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological assessment and intervention services for children. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and a warm, empathetic, and child-friendly approach to supporting children and their families.

Role:

- Conduct comprehensive psychological, developmental, behavioral, and emotional assessments for children.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based intervention plans based on each child’s needs.
- Provide child-friendly, play-based therapy for behavioral, emotional, developmental, learning, and social concerns.




- Conduct parent counselling and provide practical home-based strategies and guidance to support children’s progress.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct psychological, developmental, behavioral, and emotional assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based intervention plans for children.
- Provide child-friendly, play-based therapy for behavioral, emotional, developmental, learning, and social concerns, along with parent counselling and home-based guidance.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with Developmental Pediatricians, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, and other professionals for holistic care.
- Collaborate closely with Developmental Pediatricians, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Special Educators, and other professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
- Communicate assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress effectively with parents/caregivers and the multidisciplinary team.
- Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive therapeutic environment for children and their families.

Qualification and Skills:

- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Psychology, or Child Psychology.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience working with children.
- Solid knowledge of child development, developmental and behavioral concerns, and evidence-based psychological interventions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong observation, assessment, and clinical documentation abilities.
- Empathetic, patient, and approachable personality with a child-friendly therapeutic style.
