- Job Description: BIM MEP Coordinator

Role Overview

The BIM MEP Coordinator should be responsible for leading the 3D spatial coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF) systems. This role bridges design and construction by identifying spatial clashes, leading coordination meetings, and ensuring accurate, constructible models that align with project specifications and local codes.

Key Responsibilities

- Clash Detection & Resolution: Run automated clash detection processes using Navisworks/BIM 360, analyze conflicts, and work with trade contractors to resolve MEP clashes prior to fabrication.
- Model Coordination: Create, update, and manage 3D MEP models in Revit and Navisworks, maintaining exact spatial tolerances for ductwork, piping, conduit runs, and equipment.
- Meeting Leadership: Host and facilitate regular BIM coordination meetings with sub-contractors, design engineers, and general contractors.
- Standards & Protocols: Enforce Project Execution Plans (BEP), modeling standards, level of detail (LOD 300–400), and naming conventions.
- Field Support: Assist field teams with field-to-BIM verification,



point layout exports (Total Station), and As-Built model handovers.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in MEP design, drafting, or construction coordination.
- Software Proficiency:
- Core: Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, BIM 360 / ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud).
- Bonus: Solibri, Revizto, Dynamo, or Procore.
- Technical Knowledge: Robust understanding of MEP building codes, fabrication standards, clearance requirements, and constructibility sequencing.
- Soft Skills: Clear communication, clash-negotiation skills, and project management capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
