Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer with a strong background in Electrical distribution projects. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of experience and expertise in training personnel to ensure that all electrical work is carried out safely, with proper isolation, PPE, permits, earthing, and approved procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure secure execution of HT/LT electrical work as per approved safety procedures.
- Ensure proper electrical isolation, shutdown, and LOTO before starting work.
- Verify de-energization and proper earthing before electrical work.
- Ensure mandatory use of electrical PPE and insulated safety equipment.
- Monitor safety during 33/11 kV lines, LT lines, feeders, DTRs, cable laying, and pole erection.




- Conduct regular electrical safety inspections and identify hazards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety rules, standards, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and electrical safety briefings.
- Ensure protected procedures are followed before testing and energization.
- Report and investigate electrical accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain essential safety inspection, LOTO, permit, and incident records.
