Job Description for Maintenance Manager & Roles and Responsibilities.

· Prepare the monthly /yearly preventive maintenance program calendar and undertake the scheduled maintenance.

· Support the PAN India team with basic maintenance activities.

· Ensure and maintain the machines PM checklist for all branches every month.

· Respond to emergency breakdowns and diagnose faults.

· Responsible for the electrical and mechanical designing, installation, and commissioning of upcoming current equipment.

· Providing technical support and training on new equipment to production workers.

· Follow up with service vendors and maintain their service reports.

· Responsible for BESCOM records, compliance report submissions, and plant inspection activities

· Spares and Inventory control.

· Coordinate with the purchasing and quality departments to ensure that the spares meet their standard technical specifications.

· Create systems-related purchase requisitions, process POs, and obtain approvals from the HOD.

· Maintain statutory compliance according to the Pollution Control Board regulations and support the third-party vendor with inspections every six months

· Ensure uninterrupted power supply for the entire factory by managing diesel generator changeover activities and recording fuel consumption.

· Preparation of SOPs related to the maintenance department

· Participate in upcoming factory regulation development projects, like ISO, and implement the necessary actions

· Monitor and record the plant's daily power consumption data and submit a monthly report to management.

· Plan and allocate regular activities for contract-level workers

· Adhere to all safety and performance regulations





· Ensure and maintain the necessary tools and electrical testing devices

Ø Manage breakdown maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize production.

Ø Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment failures.

Ø Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for electrical, mechanical, and panel wiring systems.

Ø Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules to meet production demands while ensuring efficient use of resources.

Ø Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in plant operations.

Ø Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, machine maintenance, LT panels, predictive/preventive/breakdown maintenance techniques.

Ø Experience with maintenance planning & engineering principles; ability to develop effective plans.

Ø Maintaining the day-to-day check list for each & every machine

Ø Preventive maintenance, Break down maintenance, Electrical maintenance planning

Ø Maintaining the records of machines service etc

Ø Fork lift operations & maintenance

Ø Bescom records & compliance repots submission

Ø Compressor servicing records maintenance

Ø Dust collectors periodical servicing

Ø DG/Transformer servicing & maintenance

Ø Electrical panel boards maintenance with safety measures

Ø CCTV Cameras settings etc





Ø UPS maintenance for backup power during the power shutdown

Ø Factory rolling shutters maintenance & servicing

Ø If any machine breakdown coordination with service providers

Ø Arrangements of machine components from vendors

Ø Operation of crane service providers

Ø Coordination with other branches machines operation status

Ø AC vendors coordination for service Issues

Ø Spray booth operational issues resolving

Ø Event management support

Ø Power breakdown issues resolving

Requirements

- Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or related Engineering.

- Experience: Typically, 10 years in maintenance, with some supervisory/management experience.

- Technical skills: Preventive & breakdown maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and spare-parts management.

- Management skills: Team supervision, budgeting, vendor coordination, scheduling, and reporting.

- Safety knowledge: Workplace safety, electrical/mechanical safety, and applicable compliance requirements.

- Software: Basic to good knowledge of MS Excel, CMMS/Maintenance Management Software, and ERP systems.

- Certifications: Depending on the industry, certifications in safety, electrical systems, HVAC, PLC/automation, or reliability maintenance can be advantageous

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
