Key Responsibilities:
- Plant & Facility Monitoring:
- Conduct daily plant inspection rounds and identify maintenance requirements.
- Monitor wastewater movement at the second gate and ensure proper drainage operations.
- Monitor borewell water levels and ensure timely filling of water storage tanks and RO plant.
- Perform daily facility inspection and report abnormalities.
- Laboratory & Equipment Maintenance:
- Attend maintenance requests from laboratory staff.
- Carry out routine inspection and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot minor electrical and mechanical issues.
- Reset MCBs and address power fluctuation-related interruptions.
- Utilities Management:
- Operate and monitor DG Set.
- Check DG fuel level and availability.
- Coordinate with electrician/ electricity supplier during power failures.
- Monitor UPS systems and battery health.
- Monitor and inspect air-conditioning systems.
- Maintain utility records and service schedules.
- Gas Cylinder Management:
- Replace gas cylinders connected to analytical instruments as required.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and documentation of gas cylinders.
- Housekeeping & Facility Upkeep:
- Conduct daily cleanliness inspections.
- Guide housekeeping personnel regarding cleaning requirements.
- Ensure laboratories, corridors, utility areas, and external premises are maintained properly.
- Administrative & Field Support:
- Deliver samples, documents,
and materials as required.
- Submit documents, applications, and cheques to government offices.
- Coordinate courier dispatches and pickups.
- Procure emergency maintenance items, pantry materials, and consumables.
- Preventive Maintenance:
- Prepare and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
- Record maintenance activities and breakdown history.
- Coordinate external service providers for annual maintenance contracts (AMC).
- Maintain maintenance logs and equipment records.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in maintenance of laboratory, R&D;, pharmaceutical, or industrial facilities.
Required Skills:
- Basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Utility and DG operation knowledge.
- Laboratory equipment maintenance.
- Plumbing and facility maintenance.
- Vendor coordination.
- Documentation and record keeping.
- Knowledge of safety practices and GMP workplace preferred.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Equipment uptime.
- Preventive maintenance compliance.
- Breakdown response time.
- Utility availability.
- Facility cleanliness and upkeep.
- Timely completion of assigned tasks.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
