Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Team Lead who can lead a team of developers while remaining hands-on with application development, architecture, code reviews, and technical problem-solving. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, backend development, REST APIs, databases, cloud technologies, and software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Node.js developers.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using Node.js.
- Define technical architecture, development standards, and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
- Break down requirements into technical tasks and provide effort estimates.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Participate in system design, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
- Mentor team members and support their technical growth.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement appropriate solutions.
- Promote automated testing, CI/CD, Agile practices, and continuous improvement.

Required Technical Skills

- 7–10 years of overall software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.




- Excellent experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend architecture.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redis.
- Good understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud-based application development.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Git and modern development workflows.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT/OAuth2.
- Good knowledge of application security, scalability, performance optimization, and monitoring.
- Experience with unit/integration testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or similar.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience building and managing microservices-based applications.
- Experience with TypeScript and contemporary Node.js architecture.
- Knowledge of Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
- Exposure to system design and high-traffic/high-availability applications.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
