Job Summary

Field Service Engineer – Level 1 (Installation & Setup Support)

Eligibility Criteria

Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics or related technical discipline
1–3 years of experience in Manufacturing / Field Service / EMS industry
Basic exposure to equipment installation, assembly, or maintenance activities
Valuable English communication skills (spoken & written)
Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work in challenging environments
Key Responsibilities
Support tool roll-in, positioning, and installation activities at customer sites
Perform cabling and connection of utilities (Electrical, Gas, Water, CDA, Exhaust)
Assist in equipment setup, leveling, and alignment
Follow installation procedures, checklists, and safety guidelines

Support senior engineers during:
Tool hookup
Initial power-on
Basic functional checks
Ensure proper routing and securing of cables and utility lines
Maintain installation logs, checklists, and documentation
Adhere strictly to EHS & cleanroom protocols




Demonstrate positive attitude, discipline, and readiness to work hard in project environments
Skill Requirements

Key Technical Skills

Basic understanding of:
Electromechanical systems
Electrical wiring & connections
Mechanical assembly & alignment

Knowledge of:
Tool roll-in, positioning, and installation practices

Utility connections:
Electrical power
Gas lines
Water / cooling systems

Familiar with:
Hand tools, torque tools, and basic measurement tools
Safety standards and EHS practices

Advantage:
Exposure to semiconductor / industrial equipment installation
Ability to read basic drawings, layouts, and schematics
