Job Summary

The Project Manager will be supporting the Project and will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities to manage and implement network solutions. The ideal candidate will have solid Networking systems and Telco background.

Key Responsibilities

Duties:

- Migration experience; Working with an experienced group of network technology professionals, the Network PM will be managing many network project variables
- Determine, monitor, and review all project economics including costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources and risks
- Lead the project team in determining client requirements and translating requirements into operational plans
- Identify and assemble the appropriate blend of resources to meet project needs and requirements, manages sub-contractors
- Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project
- Develops project control and reporting procedures and manages changes in operational plan
- Undertake status review meetings among project team members and clients
- Work with management on project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules
- Coach and advice team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues
- Proactively influence customers to apply project planning methodologies
- Ensure adherence to legally binding requirements
- Controls project requirements, scope, and change management issues
- Establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria
- Install appropriate automated systems for management of projects
- Develop, propos, and negotiate project proposals, quotations, and add-ons to leadership and the client
- Analyze needs and recommend appropriate planning concepts and tools to be used for all facets of planning, scheduling, and tracking projects
- Analyze project progress / costs and facilitate the development of recommended alternatives
- Integrate and use project management methodologies
- Create communication plans,



ensuring that appropriate information is exchanged among key stakeholders including the customer
- Advise senior management on project management capability and risk
- Maintain awareness on emerging technologies and project management techniques

Required Skills:

- 05-08 years experience in managing large scale network implementation projects
- Advanced skill in presentation and presentation tools (i.e. MS Suite to include: PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, etc.)
- Must be able to manage 4-6 concurrent projects with competing priorities
- Proficient with project management tools.
- Ability to work with Account teams, Network Architects, and Engineers to convert business networking requirements into practical technical networking specifications
- Ability to recognize issues and out of scope requests and can answer high level networking questions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and able to make executive presentations
- Ability to manage client expectations, project deliverables, scope creep and timelines, navigate through obstacles, and achieve customer satisfaction
- Ability to work in high-pressure client-environments with aggressive deadlines
- Evening and Weekend work required on occasion for Project roll-outs

Desired Skills:

- PMP Certification
- Degree in IT related discipline
- Outsourcing industry experience
- CCNA
