Bawa Group of Hotels is looking for an experienced and dynamic Corporate HR Manager to lead HR operations across multiple hotel units.

Location: Mumbai – Corporate Office

Experience: 10–15 years in HR, with minimum 5 years in a managerial role

Industry: Only Hotel industry candidates can apply

Job Purpose

To manage and oversee end-to-end HR operations across multiple hotels/business units, ensuring consistent HR practices, statutory compliance, effective manpower management, employee engagement, and strong coordination with Unit Heads/HODs.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle HR operations across multiple units/locations and ensure uniform implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Manage complete employee life cycle – manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, increments, disciplinary matters, and separation.
- Drive recruitment and manpower planning for operational and managerial positions and monitor vacancies unit-wise.
- Supervise attendance, biometric records, leave, payroll inputs, overtime, incentives, and salary-related coordination.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements, including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, POSH and other employment-related compliances.
- Manage and monitor contractual/outsourced manpower, contractor documentation, deployment, attendance, billing coordination and statutory compliance.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, counselling, investigations and employee relations professionally and confidentially.
- Coordinate with General Managers, Unit Heads and HODs on staffing, performance, productivity, employee concerns and HR requirements.




- Monitor attrition, absenteeism, manpower cost, vacancies and recruitment status and submit periodic HR MIS to Management.
- Drive performance management, training, employee engagement, recognition and retention initiatives across units.
- Conduct regular HR audits/unit visits to ensure employee records, statutory documentation, grooming, discipline and HR processes are maintained.
- Guide and supervise Unit HR/HR Executives and ensure timely completion of HR activities.
- Support new hotel/outlet openings, including manpower budgeting, recruitment, onboarding and HR setup.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee, payroll and management information.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate or MBA in HR / Human Resources Management.
- Strong experience in independently handling multiple units/locations is essential.
- Hospitality experience with exposure to Hotels, Restaurants or F&B; operations will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, statutory compliance, recruitment and employee relations.
- Good leadership, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
- Should be comfortable with frequent visits/travel between units.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work closely with both Management and operational teams.

Preferred Candidate: A mature, hands-on HR professional capable of independently managing Corporate HR responsibilities while maintaining strong control and coordination across multiple operating unit
