JOB DESCRIPTION – TEAM LEAD

The job description of a Team Lead at WeDezine Studio encompasses a broad range of responsibilities

including overseeing a team of interior designers, driving successful closures and execution of projects from

concept to completion. You will play a pivotal role in leading, mentoring, and inspiring your team members

to deliver innovative and high-quality interior design solutions that meet client objectives and exceed

expectations.

1. Leadership Qualities:

- Lead and manage a team of interior designers and interior designing support staff by providing

direction, guidance, and support throughout all stages of the design process.

- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive

work environment conducive to creativity, innovation, and qualified growth.

- Support key initiatives from creation to implementation together with management’s advisory

2. Team Management:

- Train and manage a skilled team of designers, and design support staff.
- Supervise the development of design proposals, BOQs, including sketches, mood boards, material

selections, and 3D renderings, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.

- Oversee day-to-day operations of their respective team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress and health, allocate resources, and

address any challenges or issues that may arise.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Client Satisfaction:

- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget constraints,

and translate these into creative and functional design concepts.

- Oversee the selection and procurement of furniture, fixtures, and accessories, ensuring quality,

functionality, and aesthetic coherence with the overall design concept.

- Act as a point of contact for all your clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers, to

ensure seamless integration of interior design elements into overall project plans.4. Day to Day Operations Management:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement and improve operational processes to enhance productivity.
- Monitor project timelines ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and Adhere to the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each task.

5. Business Management:

- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cash collection targets are met for the team
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.




- Negotiate contracts with clients.

6. Quality Control:

- Ensure the highest standards of quality in designing process.
- Implement and enforce quality control processes in designing to meet client expectations.

7. Problem Solving:

- Address challenges and resolve conflicts within the team or with clients.
- Implement effective problem-solving strategies to overcome obstacles.

8. Communication:

- Timely communication with respect to design, development, operations, and/or project teams with

updates such as the status of project completion, upcoming benchmark goals, potential issues, etc.

- Maintain open and transparent communication with the team, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the company in a professional manner during meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Ensure close relation with procurement and operations for smooth handover projects.
- Stay informed about onsite work progress of all projects, to ensure work executed as per Signoff.

Pay: ₹750,000.00 - ₹840,000.00 per year
