ScalePlot is a multidisciplinary consulting firm working with clients across the US, DRC, and India. We produce a steady volume of short form social content alongside longer brand and training videos, and we're looking for an editor who can move comfortably between both.

You'll own edits end to end: pulling raw footage into a story, cutting for retention, and shipping content that actually performs. If you're the kind of person who notices a current transition or hook format on Instagram and immediately wants to try it, you'll fit here.

What you'll be doing

- Editing reels, shorts, and vertical content (9:16) built for retention and watch time Editing long format video: brand films, interviews, training modules, YouTube content, client testimonials Sound design, music selection, colour correction, and clean subtitle work Building simple motion graphics, lower thirds, and text animations Using AI tools to speed up the workflow: auto captioning, background removal, voice cleanup, generative fill, script to video, upscaling, and similar Repurposing one long format asset into multiple short cuts across platforms Keeping up with trending audio, formats, and editing styles, and bringing those ideas to the team instead of waiting to be briefed Managing your own timelines, project files, and asset organisation across multiple client accounts

What we're looking for

- A portfolio or showreel.



This matters more than anything else on your CV. Strong command of at least one editing suite: Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro After Effects or comparable motion graphics ability Practical experience with AI editing tools (Higgsfield, Runway, ElevenLabs, or whatever you actually use) Genuine understanding of what performs on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and how the cut differs on each Ability to take feedback, revise quickly, and hit deadlines without chasing Comfortable working with international clients and occasional timezone overlap

Junior candidates: 1 to 2 years of editing experience, or a strong body of personal or freelance work. We'll train you on our systems and standards.

Senior candidates: 4 or more years of editing experience, proven results on brand or agency accounts, and the ability to set the creative direction of an edit on your own, review junior work, and own the quality of what ships.

Nice to have

- Basic shooting ability (camera, lighting, audio) Experience with real estate, hospitality, wellness, or B2B content Thumbnail and static design skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva Working knowledge of French or Hindi for regional client content

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mumbai, Maharashtra (Mumbai, Mumbai District)
