Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented GIS Analyst to support geospatial data processing, mapping, digitization, and analysis activities. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of GIS concepts, spatial data, and mapping tools, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform GIS mapping, digitization, and geospatial data processing.
- Create, update, and maintain spatial datasets and digital maps.
- Identify and accurately map features such as roads, buildings, trees, land-use areas, and other geographic features.
- Perform quality checks and validate GIS data for accuracy and completeness.
- Interpret satellite imagery, aerial imagery, and other geospatial data sources.
- Use GIS software and project-specific tools for data editing and analysis.
- Follow project guidelines, mapping standards, and quality requirements.
- Identify data inconsistencies and correct errors as required.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy as per assigned project targets.
- Coordinate with Team Leads and other GIS team members to clarify project requirements.
- Complete assigned tasks within defined deadlines.




- Maintain proper documentation and daily production reports.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of GIS concepts, spatial data, and digital mapping.
- Knowledge of GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS is preferred.
- Ability to interpret maps, satellite imagery, and geographic features.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer and data-handling skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to learn new GIS tools and project-specific processes.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, Geology, Geoinformatics, GIS, Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers with relevant GIS knowledge and robust learning ability can also apply.

Experience

- Freshers to 2 years of experience in GIS, mapping, digitization, or geospatial data processing.

Candidates with experience in GIS mapping or data annotation will be preferred

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
