- Playwright – UI automation, cross-browser testing, fixtures, assertions, Page Object Model (POM), tracing, screenshots, and reporting.
- Selenium WebDriver – experience with web automation is an added advantage.
- API Automation – Postman, Newman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- JavaScript / TypeScript – scripting for Playwright automation.
- CI/CD Tools – Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Version Control – Git / GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket.
- Test Management & Defect Tracking – Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, or similar.
- Performance Testing – JMeter or similar tools is an advantage.
- BDD Frameworks – Cucumber or similar frameworks is an advantage.
- Database Testing – SQL-based validation and backend data verification.
Updated Key Skills
Must Have:
- 4–6 years of QA/testing experience
- Strong Backend & API Testing
- Hands-on Playwright automation
- Valuable JavaScript/TypeScript
- API testing using Postman/Newman or REST Assured
- Good SQL
- Experience with Jira and Git
- Understanding of CI/CD automation
