Infrastructure Platform Engineer – Virtualization, Servers & Resilience (m/f/d) (m/f/d) - 100% Remote

Your Mission:

As an Infrastructure Platform Engineer, you will operate and improve our critical infrastructure platforms, ensuring that servers, virtual machines, storage and backup services remain secure, reliable and available. You will work closely with the IT team to maintain strong recovery capabilities and ensure that infrastructure incidents can be handled effectively.

Your daily tasks:

- Operate and maintain virtualisation platforms, virtual machines and Windows/Linux servers.

- Support server patching, monitoring, performance optimisation and capacity planning.

- Manage storage, backup and restore operations.

- Perform regular recovery and disaster-recovery testing.

- Monitor infrastructure alerts and support incident resolution.

- Maintain clear technical documentation, recovery plans and operational runbooks.

- Support data-centre operations, server lifecycle management and continuous service improvement.

What we are looking for:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical field.

- Graduates from top-tier Indian universities, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS Pilani or comparable institutions, are preferred.

- Practical experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V or comparable virtualization platforms.

- Hand on Experience of Windows Server and basic Linux administration.

- Experience with server monitoring, patching, storage concepts and SAN/NAS environments.

- Hands-on experience with backup, restore and disaster-recovery processes.

- Experience with backup platforms such as Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik or similar is an advantage.

- Strong incident-response, recovery and documentation mindset.

- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
