Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Grinding Supervisor to supervise grinding operations, manpower, production targets and quality requirements. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Cylindrical Grinding / Centerless Grinding / ID & OD Grinding and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day grinding production activities.
- Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Monitor production targets, productivity and machine utilization.
- Handle Cylindrical, Centerless, ID & OD Grinding operations.
- Ensure proper machine setting, tool selection and process parameters.
- Monitor component quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Production teams.
- Identify and reduce rejection, rework and machine downtime.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and customer requirements.
- Conduct shift-wise production monitoring and reporting.
- Maintain 5S, safety and housekeeping standards in the shop floor.




- Train and guide operators and setters.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and work instructions.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of grinding machines and grinding processes.
- Knowledge of ID / OD / Cylindrical / Centerless Grinding.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge and Gauges.
- Production planning and manpower handling skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards and rejection control.
- Positive problem-solving and team-management skills.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering or related discipline.

Experience

5–10 years of relevant experience in Grinding / Precision Engineering / Automobile Manufacturing.

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on experience and technical skills.
