We are looking for an experienced Spray Painter for our 3-wheeler electric vehicle manufacturing workshop.
Responsibilities
- Perform spray painting of 3-wheeler EV body panels and components.
- Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, putty application and primer coating.
- Mix and prepare paint as per required colour and finish.
- Operate spray guns and other painting equipment properly.
- Apply primer, base coat and finishing coat evenly.
- Ensure proper paint thickness, coverage and smooth finishing.
- Identify and correct defects such as uneven coating, runs, dust particles, scratches and colour mismatch.
- Maintain spray guns, painting tools and equipment.
- Keep the painting area clean and follow workshop safety procedures.
- Complete painting work according to production requirements and quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automobile spray painting is preferred.
- Experience with 3-wheeler, auto-rickshaw or similar vehicle painting will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of surface preparation, primer, paint mixing and spray painting.
- Ability to maintain consistent paint quality and finish.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to work in a production environment.
- Candidates with relevant practical experience will be preferred.
