Job Description – Western Music Singing Teacher

Position: Western Music Singing Teacher – Home Tutor
Location: Student’s Residence
Employment Type: Part-Time / Home Tuition

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Western Music Singing Teacher to provide one-to-one vocal training at the student’s home.(girl child)

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Western vocal techniques, breathing, pitch, rhythm, and voice control.
- Provide personalized singing lessons based on the student’s age and skill level.
- Teach Western music songs and help develop vocal confidence and performance skills.
- Train students in basic music theory, scales, harmony, and ear training.
- Guide students in pronunciation, voice modulation, and stage performance.
- Prepare students for school performances, competitions, and examinations, if required.
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to the student/parent.
- Maintain a friendly, patient, and qualified teaching environment.

Requirements

- Strong knowledge and experience in Western vocal music.




- Prior experience as a Western vocal/singing teacher.
- Good understanding of Western music theory and vocal techniques.
- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to teach beginners and students with prior singing experience.
- Relevant qualification or formal training in Western music will be an added advantage.
- Punctual, patient, and professional.

Preferred Skills

- Ability to teach Western Classical, Pop, Jazz, or Contemporary music.
- Experience in preparing students for Trinity / ABRSM or other recognized music examinations will be an advantage.
- Ability to accompany lessons using piano/keyboard or guitar will be an added advantage.

Working Hours

- Part-time, based on mutual convenience.
- Classes will be conducted at the student’s residence.
