- Create 2D and 3D CAD jewellery designs according to design briefs and specifications.
- Convert hand sketches, concepts, and reference images into detailed CAD models.
- Develop designs for rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, necklaces, bangles, and other jewellery.
- Prepare accurate models considering dimensions, proportions, stone sizes, metal weight, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Create stone settings, prong settings, bezels, channels, pavé, and other jewellery details.
- Prepare realistic renders and presentations for client/buyer approval.
- Make design modifications based on client feedback.
- Coordinate with the production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical for production.
- Prepare technical drawings and production-ready files.
- Check CAD models for accuracy before sending them for sampling or production.
- Maintain proper records of designs, revisions, and approved files.
- Research jewellery trends, styles, techniques, and market developments.
- Support the design team in developing recent collections and customized jewellery.
- Meet deadlines while handling multiple design projects.
