Hiring Organization: The Academic City School – Indore

Reporting To: Principal & Vice Principal.

Role Overview:

The Social studies teacher is responsible for instructing students on a range of social science subjects like history, geography, civics, economics, environment and political science. To build strong academic foundations, fosters curiosity, ensures disciplined learning, mentors students, and collaborates with parents to enhance overall growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lesson Planning & Delivery – Design & implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons.

- Student Learning & Performance – Ensure conceptual clarity and robust foundational learning.
- Assessment & Feedback – Conduct regular tests, evaluate progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Classroom Management & Discipline – Maintain an engaging, structured, and positive learning environment.
- Student Well-being & Mentorship – Provide emotional and academic support, ensuring student growth.




- Co-curricular & School Engagement – Actively participate in school events, clubs, and extracurricular activities.
- Parental Communication – Maintain regular communication with parents on student progress.
- Personal Professional Development – Engage in training sessions and curriculum enhancement.
- Technology Integration – Use digital tools and resources to enhance teaching.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Academic Performance: 85%+ students score above average; 100% syllabus completion on time.
- Assessment & Feedback: Conduct 3+ assessments per term, provide feedback within 7 days, ensure 90%+ student progress.
- Classroom Management: <5% discipline issues, 90%+ student attendance & engagement.
- Student Progression: Remedial sessions for 20%+ underperforming students
