Job Summary

We are looking for O&M; Operators & Technicians to operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot water and wastewater treatment plants such as STP, ETP, WTP, RO and related systems. The candidate will be responsible for smooth plant operation, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and maintaining daily operational records.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor STP, ETP, WTP, RO and other treatment plant equipment.
- Check pumps, motors, blowers, valves, pipelines, dosing systems and electrical panels.
- Monitor plant parameters and ensure operation as per prescribed standards.
- Carry out routine inspection and preventive maintenance.
- Identify equipment faults and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain proper chemical dosing and operational levels.
- Record daily plant readings, equipment status, chemical consumption and maintenance activities.
- Conduct backwashing, filter cleaning, sludge handling and other routine plant activities.
- Coordinate with the O&M; Supervisor/Engineer for breakdowns and major maintenance.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the plant area.
- Follow all company, client, safety and environmental procedures.




- Use PPE and follow safe working practices at all times.
- Report breakdowns, abnormalities and safety issues immediately.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / 10th or 12th with relevant technical experience.
- Candidates with experience in STP/ETP/WTP/RO plant operations will be preferred.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered for Operator roles.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, blowers, valves and treatment processes.
- Basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
- Ability to read and maintain operational records.
- Valuable discipline, teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work at project/site locations and in shifts, if required.

Experience

- Operator: 0–3 years
- Technician: 1–5 years in water/wastewater treatment or related industrial maintenance.
