About Us

We are a growing partnership firm engaged in the manufacturing of ice cream, popsicles and kulfi with an expanding franchise network across 5 states in India. We are looking for a motivated Accounting Intern who wants to build practical experience in accounting, GST, TDS and financial operations.

Job Summary

The Accounting Intern will assist the accounts team in day-to-day accounting transactions, bookkeeping, GST and TDS workings, bank reconciliation, documentation and preparation of reports to be submitted to the Chartered Accountant (CA).

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a fresher to gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing accounts, GST, TDS, inventory accounting and franchise accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in recording day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Enter sales, purchase, receipt, payment, journal and contra transactions.
- Assist in maintaining cash book, bank book, ledgers and supporting documents.
- Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses and payment vouchers.
- Assist with bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Assist in preparing GST GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B workings.
- Assist in checking purchase and sales data for GST compliance.
- Prepare TDS calculation and payment workings under the guidance of the Accounts Manager.
- Assist in preparing TDS return workings and documentation for submission to the CA.
- Assist in preparing monthly accounting schedules and reports.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and stock-related accounting records.
- Support accounts-related requirements of the company's franchise operations.




- Coordinate with the CA and senior accounts team for required documents and workings.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.

Eligibility

- B.Com / M.Com pursuing or completed.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Basic knowledge of GST and TDS will be an advantage.
- Candidates pursuing CA / CMA / ACCA may also apply.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Basic knowledge of Tally Prime is preferred.
- Good numerical and analytical ability.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn taxation and statutory compliance.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
