Job Profile - Automation Project Engineer - Mechanical

Location - Ludhiana

Experience:

3–8 years in machine design, automation projects, SPMs, material handling, or project execution

Qualification - B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering

Key Responsibilities-

- Coordinate with automation vendors for machine design, fabrication, and installation.
- Review machine layouts, GA drawings, and mechanical designs.
- Support concept development for low-cost automation and productivity improvements.
- Coordinate civil, utility, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical readiness before installation.
- Monitor fabrication progress at vendor locations.
- Participate in FAT, SAT, installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance during implementation.
- Track project schedules and identify execution bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare weekly project progress reports.




- Execute Manpower Intensity Reduction Projects.
- Drive Digitalization & Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
- Manage vendors and ensure project timelines.
- Conduct FAT, SAT, installation, and commissioning.
- Monitor project cost, quality, and schedule.
- Submit weekly progress reports.
- Travel to all manufacturing plants as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company standards
