Assistant General Manager Operations

The Assistant General Manager Operations will oversee day‑to‑day operational activities, ensuring efficient processes, high quality standards, and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. This senior leadership role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical capabilities,



and proven experience in managing large teams and complex operational environments.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute operational strategies that support the organization’s business goals.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to improve process efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyze operational data, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the operations function.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational initiatives with corporate strategy.
- Oversee supply chain, logistics, and vendor management to optimize the end‑to‑end value chain.
- Drive continuous improvement programs such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Mentor and develop mid‑level managers and staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Requirements

- 15 to 18 years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably in a large, multi‑site organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven track record of leading large teams and managing complex operational processes.
- Robust strategic planning, budgeting, and financial acumen.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems.
