About the Role

Gurjot Shan Designs is looking for a Zoho Developer who can take ownership of building, customizing, integrating, and automating our Zoho ecosystem.

The ideal candidate should understand business processes—not just coding—and be capable of converting operational requirements into practical Zoho-based systems that improve efficiency, visibility, accountability, and automation across the organization.

You will work closely with management, finance, HR, design, sales, procurement, project execution, and workshop teams to develop a connected business management system.

Key Responsibilities1. Zoho Development & Customization

- Develop and customize applications across the Zoho ecosystem.
- Build custom modules, forms, workflows, dashboards, reports, and business processes.
- Develop solutions using Deluge and Zoho APIs.
- Customize CRM, Projects, Books, People, Creator, Inventory, Analytics and other relevant Zoho applications.
- Configure role-based access, approvals, notifications, and automation.

2. Business Process Automation

- Identify repetitive manual processes and convert them into automated workflows.
- Automate lead management, client onboarding, quotations, proposals, project creation, task allocation, procurement, invoicing, collections, HR processes and reporting.
- Create automated alerts, reminders, escalations and approval systems.
- Build management dashboards for real-time business visibility.

3. Zoho CRM

- Customize CRM modules and sales pipelines.
- Automate lead-to-client conversion.
- Create workflows for enquiries, follow-ups, quotations and client onboarding.
- Develop custom functions and integrations.
- Maintain data quality, field structures and user permissions.

4. Zoho Projects

- Configure project templates and automated project creation.
- Develop task, milestone and project tracking systems.
- Automate daily task allocation, status updates, escalations and project reporting.
- Integrate project execution data with CRM,



Finance and other business applications.

5. Finance & Procurement Automation

- Work with Zoho Books / Zoho Inventory to automate:
- Quotations
- Invoices
- Purchase orders
- Vendor management
- Payment tracking
- Expense management
- Project-wise financial reporting
- Develop workflows connecting procurement, projects and finance.

6. Integrations

- Integrate Zoho applications with:
- Google Workspace
- Gmail
- Google Sheets
- WhatsApp/business communication platforms where applicable
- Payment systems
- Website forms
- Other third-party applications
- Work with REST APIs, webhooks and JSON/XML data where required.

7. Reporting & Management Dashboards

- Build dashboards for management covering:
- Sales pipeline
- Lead conversion
- Project progress
- Project profitability
- Receivables
- Expenses
- Procurement
- Vendor performance
- Employee productivity
- Business KPIs

8. System Maintenance & Support

- Troubleshoot Zoho applications and integrations.
- Monitor automation failures and data synchronization issues.
- Maintain documentation for custom functions, workflows and integrations.
- Train internal users on newly developed systems.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve the company's technology infrastructure.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Zoho One ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho CRM.
- Strong Deluge scripting skills.
- Knowledge of Zoho APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Experience with Zoho Books, Projects, Creator, Analytics or Inventory is highly desirable.
- Understanding of databases, JSON, REST APIs and webhooks.
- Experience building automated business workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.




- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

We are not looking for someone who only configures Zoho.

We are looking for a person who can understand how our business operates, identify gaps, design the right system architecture and build a connected digital operating system for the company.

The candidate should be comfortable interacting directly with management and department heads, gathering requirements, proposing solutions and independently executing them.

Education

Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Relevant hands-on Zoho development experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.

Compensation

Salary: Rs. 35,000 per month
Depending on experience, technical capability and Zoho expertise.
