Job Summary

We are looking for a Field Technician to handle installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ISP network connections, including FTTH and fiber-optic networks. The technician will be responsible for ensuring timely service delivery and maintaining network quality at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Install and activate FTTH broadband connections at customer premises.
- Perform fiber optic cable laying, routing, termination, and basic splicing.
- Configure and troubleshoot ONT/ONU, Wi-Fi routers, and customer-premises equipment (CPE).
- Identify and resolve internet connectivity, signal, and network-related issues.
- Perform fiber testing using power meters, VFL, OTDR, and other relevant tools.
- Attend customer complaints and service requests within the assigned SLA.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of the access network.
- Check fiber signal levels and identify cable cuts, attenuation, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with the NOC, L2/L3 teams, and installation teams for complex technical issues.
- Maintain proper records of installations, complaints, materials, and completed jobs.
- Ensure safe handling of fiber cables, tools, equipment, and company assets.
- Follow company safety procedures and technical standards.
- Travel to customer and network locations as required.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of FTTH, GPON, fiber optics, LAN, WAN, and networking.




- Knowledge of IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and basic router configuration.
- Ability to use fiber testing and troubleshooting tools.
- Good problem-solving and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to work in outdoor/field conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma / 12th / equivalent technical qualification.
- 0–3 years of experience in ISP, FTTH, telecom, broadband, or networking field.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Additional Requirements

- Willingness to travel within the assigned service area.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
- Valuable communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, or emergency maintenance situations when required.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
