Online Chess Educator

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Chess Educator to conduct live online classes for intermediate-level students. The role involves teaching chess concepts, reviewing student games and helping learners improve their tactical, strategic and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

- Conduct live online chess classes for intermediate-level students.
- Teach openings, tactics, positional concepts, middlegame planning and basic endgames.
- Review student games and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare structured and engaging lessons.
- Help students improve calculation, decision-making and pattern recognition.
- Encourage critical thinking, confidence and sportsmanship.
- Monitor student progress and maintain an engaging online classroom.

Requirements





- Minimum 2 years of chess coaching or training experience.
- At least 6 months of live online chess teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of chess openings, tactics, positional play, middlegame concepts and basic endgames.
- Good communication and online teaching skills.
- Ability to explain chess concepts clearly to learners.
- Availability for the scheduled 4:00 AM–8:00 AM IST hours.

- Stable, high-speed internet connection.
- Pen tablet or digital writing device.
- Quiet and qualified teaching environment.
