United Media Computers (UMC), a printing and packaging company based in Chandigarh, is hiring a detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Output Processing Specialist. In this role, you will oversee the final technical preparation and quality assurance of all design deliverables — taking raw creative layouts and refining them into flawless, production-ready files for commercial printing, digital publishing, web deployment, and social platforms. Your primary mission is to ensure absolute brand consistency, correct technical specifications, and zero errors before final delivery.

Responsibilities

- File Optimization: Format, upscale, and convert raw design assets into exact delivery specifications
- Pre-Press Management: Set bleed lines, crop marks, color profiles (CMYK), and trapping for print vendors
- Digital Formatting: Export web assets with optimal compression, dimensions, and resolution (RGB)
- Quality Assurance: Check final artwork for typography errors,



layout consistency, and alignment issues
- Asset Archiving: Clean, label, and organize layered project files into the company's digital asset management system
- AI Tool Integration: Use generative AI platforms to upscale, expand boundaries, or clean up image outputs
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior art directors, copywriters, and print vendors to resolve layout friction

Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in production design, pre-press, or output processing
- Elite proficiency in, Coral draw, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma
- Deep understanding of color theory (RGB vs. CMYK), vector vs. raster limits, and file extensions
- Exceptional attention to detail — able to spot minor visual flaws, text overlaps, or incorrect dimensions.
- Education must be graduation or post graduation
