Data Procurement Specialist About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Data Procurement Specialist to source, acquire, and manage high-quality datasets for AI model training and development. The ideal candidate will identify reliable data sources, communicate with vendors and contributors, and ensure datasets meet quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and identify reliable data sources for AI and machine learning projects.
- Procure datasets through online platforms, vendors, public sources, and partnerships.
- Coordinate with data providers and negotiate pricing and licensing terms.
- Maintain and update datasets based on project requirements.
- Verify data quality, accuracy, and completeness before delivery.
- Organize and document acquired datasets.
- Collaborate with AI, Data Operations, and Product teams to understand data requirements.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, licensing, and company policies.
- Track procurement activities and maintain procurement records.

Required Skills





- Excellent internet research and analytical skills.
- Solid communication and negotiation abilities.
- Good understanding of Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to evaluate data quality and organize large datasets.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with AI, Machine Learning, or data annotation is a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience in Data Procurement, Data Operations, Research, or a similar role.
- Freshers with solid research skills are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with data sourcing platforms.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML datasets.
- Knowledge of data licensing and compliance is an advantage.
