OPERATIONS MANAGER – STOCK MARKET INSTITUTE

Location: Avadi, Chennai
Salary: ₹20,000 per month

Role Objective

We are looking for a target-oriented Operations Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our Stock Market Institute and, most importantly, increase student admissions and monthly revenue.

The candidate will coordinate leads, counsellors, trainers and management to ensure a smooth process from Lead → Follow-up → Demo → Counselling → Admission.

Key Responsibilities1. Admission Growth

- Take ownership of monthly admission growth.
- Set daily and monthly admission targets for the team.
- Monitor the complete lead-to-admission conversion process.
- Ensure every lead is contacted and followed up properly.
- Track demo class attendance and conversion.
- Identify reasons for lost leads and improve conversion strategies.
- Develop new ideas to increase student admissions.
- Support the team in achieving monthly revenue targets.

2. Lead & Sales Management

- Monitor leads generated through Meta Ads, WhatsApp, phone calls and other sources.
- Allocate leads to the appropriate counsellor/team member.
- Maintain daily lead follow-up reports.
- Track Recent Leads → Contacted → Interested → Demo → Follow-up → Admission.
- Ensure no lead is left without follow-up.
- Review sales performance daily.

3. Trainer & Demo Coordination

- Coordinate with stock market and forex trainers.
- Schedule demo classes based on lead availability.
- Ensure trainers are prepared for effective demo sessions.
- Monitor demo quality and student engagement.




- Coordinate between trainers and the admissions team.

4. Team Management

- Manage and monitor telecallers, counsellors and support staff.
- Conduct daily performance reviews.
- Set individual targets and responsibilities.
- Motivate the team to achieve admission targets.
- Identify underperforming team members and take corrective action.
- Maintain discipline, attendance and productivity.

5. Institute Operations

- Ensure the institute functions smoothly every day.
- Manage class schedules, demo sessions and student coordination.
- Handle student queries and operational issues.
- Maintain proper admission records and documentation.
- Coordinate with management on important operational decisions.

6. Marketing Coordination

- Coordinate with the marketing team for Meta Ads and promotional campaigns.
- Suggest new offers, campaigns and admission strategies.
- Monitor lead quality from different marketing sources.
- Provide feedback to improve advertisements and lead generation.
- Explore local marketing opportunities such as college programs, workshops, seminars and offline campaigns.

Daily Reporting

The Operations Manager must submit a daily report covering:

- Total leads received
- Leads contacted
- Interested leads
- Demo bookings




- Demo attended
- Follow-ups completed
- Admissions confirmed
- Revenue generated
- Pending follow-ups
- Team performance
- Problems and action taken

Monthly Performance Expectations

Performance will be evaluated based on:

Lead Management + Demo Conversion + Admission Growth + Revenue + Team Performance + Operational Efficiency

The manager is expected to continuously improve the institute's monthly admission numbers and revenue.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, sales, education, training or business development.
- Experience in an education institute, coaching centre or financial/trading institute will be preferred.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of sales conversion and lead management.
- Ability to manage a team and achieve targets.
- Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets / CRM / WhatsApp Business.
- Tamil and English communication preferred.
- Knowledge of the stock market is an added advantage.

Starting Salary: ₹20,000/month
