Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to manage and supervise day-to-day production operations. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets while maintaining quality standards, controlling wastage, improving productivity, and ensuring effective utilization of manpower and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and manage daily production activities as per production targets.
- Ensure timely achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Monitor production processes to maintain product quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate production supervisors, operators, and workers.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, raw materials, and other resources.
- Monitor and control production wastage, rejection, downtime, and operational losses.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Department to ensure smooth functioning of machinery and minimize breakdowns.
- Work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure products meet the required quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain daily production reports, manpower reports, and other operational MIS.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper implementation of SOPs and company procedures on the shop floor.
- Maintain discipline, safety, cleanliness,



and housekeeping within the production area.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments for smooth operations.
- Monitor inventory and availability of raw materials required for production.
- Train, guide, and evaluate production supervisors and workers.
- Implement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce costs, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Report production performance, challenges, and improvement plans to the Factory Head and Management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a relevant technical field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations.
- Experience in a manufacturing or pipe production industry will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, process management, and quality control.
- Ability to manage production teams and achieve targets under pressure.
- Positive problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of production reporting and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and manufacturing SOPs.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on manufacturing professional with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage production efficiently while ensuring quality, productivity, cost control, and timely delivery.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Negotiable as per Interview and Experience

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
