Business Applications & Automation (m/f/d) (m/f/d) - 100% Remote

Your Mission:

As a Business Technology Engineer, you will support, improve and connect the business applications that enable our global operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective system solutions, effective processes and reliable automation. You will join a team of three specialists with a primary focus on either SIERA Core ERP, business applications and processes, or integration, data and automation. All team members are expected to understand the wider business application landscape and key business processes.

Your daily tasks:

· Support and improve business applications, processes and user experience across the organization.

· Gather business requirements and translate them into structured functional or technical solutions.

· Configure applications, coordinate testing, support user acceptance testing and manage releases.

· Support ERP configuration, user support, enhancements and release planning.

· Develop and maintain integrations, data flows, APIs, reports and automated workflows.

· Troubleshoot application, interface and data-related issues.

· Coordinate with business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams.

· Maintain clear process documentation, system documentation and release records.

What we are looking for:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.





· Graduates from top-tier Indian universities, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS Pilani or comparable institutions, are preferred.

· Practical experience in business applications, ERP systems, process improvement or application support.

· Strong ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into practical solutions.

· Experience with application configuration, testing, user acceptance testing and release coordination.

· Knowledge of APIs, integrations, data flows, SQL or reporting interfaces is an advantage.

· Experience with Power Automate, Power Platform or comparable automation tools is desirable.

· Excellent written and spoken English skills.

· For the Business Technology Engineer –ERP role, proven hands-on experience with SIERA Core ERP, relevant business modules and ERP release management is essential. This person will act as the recognized internal product expert and owner for the SIERA Core ERP roadmap.

Helpful Certifications

· SIERA Core ERP product or vendor certification, where available

· Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals or Power Platform Developer Associate

· IIBA / CBAP or other business-analysis qualifications

· Agile, Scrum or Product Owner certification

· SQL, API-management or integration-platform certifications
