Automobile Service Technician

Job Responsibilities

- Perform periodic maintenance and general servicing of passenger cars.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
- Carry out engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and AC-related repairs.
- Use diagnostic equipment and follow manufacturer-recommended procedures.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements.
- Ensure all repair work is completed accurately and within the assigned time.
- Maintain proper quality and safety standards in the workshop.
- Follow workshop processes, SOPs, and dealership guidelines.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and the assigned work area properly.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Supervisors regarding vehicle repair status.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.




- Relevant experience in automobile service/workshop operations will be an advantage.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also apply.

Skills Required

- Positive knowledge of automobile mechanical systems.
- Basic knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
- Ability to use vehicle diagnostic tools.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good teamwork and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn new automotive technologies.

Experience

0–5 years of experience in automobile service/workshop operations.
