Position Details

● Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh — Remote

● Employment Type: Full-time

● Reporting To: GeM Expert

● Experience: 0–2 years; Freshers can apply

● Probation Period: 3 months

● Probation Salary: ₹8,500 per month

● Post-Probation Salary: ₹12,500 per month, subject to satisfactory performance

● Internet Allowance: ₹500 per month

● Performance Incentives: Applicable post-probation confirmation, based on defined business/performance outcomes

About the Role

We are looking for a GeM Associate / Trainee to support our Government e-Marketplace activities. This is an entry-level opportunity for candidates interested in GeM, government tenders, procurement, B2G sales and business operations. The candidate will work closely with the GeM Expert and business team and receive practical exposure to GeM processes.

Key Responsibilities

● Search and identify relevant GeM bids and tenders.

● Track new opportunities, deadlines, amendments and bid status.

● Assist in reviewing tender and bid documents.

● Support preparation and organisation of bid documentation.

● Assist with GeM product and service catalogue/listing activities.

● Upload and maintain documents on the GeM portal.

● Maintain bid trackers and prospect records.

● Coordinate with internal teams for required information and documents.

● Support GeM order processing and related documentation.





● Prepare basic reports and status updates.

● Follow up on pending activities and deadlines.

● Learn and develop practical expertise in GeM and government procurement processes.

Required Skills

● Basic computer knowledge and comfort working with online portals.

● Basic to good knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

● Good communication and documentation skills.

● Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

● Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

● Willingness to learn GeM, tendering and government procurement processes.

● Prior exposure to GeM, tenders, procurement, quotations or sales support is an advantage.

● Freshers with good computer skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours & Availability

● Standard working hours: Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM IST (aligned to GeM portal submission and bid deadlines).

● Availability during GeM bid deadline windows may occasionally require working outside standard hours.

Probation, Performance Review & Notice Period

● Probation period: 3 months from date of joining.

● Performance reviews conducted on Day 30, Day 60 and Day 90 of the probation period.

● Performance will be assessed against KPIs defined and communicated at the time of joining.





● Confirmation of employment (and applicability of the post-probation salary and performance incentives) is subject to satisfactory performance in these reviews.

● Notice period during probation: 7 days from either side, or as per the applicable state Shops and Establishments Act, whichever is higher.

Remote Working & Equipment

● This is a remote position for candidates based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

● Reliable internet connectivity is required.

● The company will provide a ₹500/month internet allowance.

● Having a personal laptop/desktop computer is a value addition and preferred.

● Business-related mobile call charges are reimbursed up to ₹300/month against submitted bills.

● A company/business mobile number or SIM may be provided where the role requires regular external communication.

Compensation & Career Growth

● Probation salary: ₹8,500/month (first 3 months).

● Post-probation salary: ₹12,500/month, subject to satisfactory performance.

● Internet allowance: ₹500/month.

● Performance-based incentives applicable post-probation confirmation, linked to defined GeM/business outcomes.

● Potential career progression: GeM Associate/Trainee → GeM Executive → GeM Expert / Government Business Executive.
