Responsibilities:
Design and Architecture:
Design SCCM infrastructure, including site servers, distribution points, and boundary groups, based on organizational needs. Plan the deployment of SCCM components in multi-site environments.
Installation and Configuration:
Install and configure SCCM site servers, roles, and features according to best practices.
Set up database servers, distribution points, and reporting services as part of the SCCM deployment.
Software and Application Deployment:q
Design and implement software deployment strategies for applications, updates, and packages across the organization. Create deployment packages, advertisements, and collections for software distribution.
Patch and Update Management:
Configure and manage software update deployments to keep systems up-to-date and secure.
Monitor compliance and create reports on patching status.
Configuration and Compliance Management:




Create and manage configuration baselines and compliance settings to ensure endpoint configurations adhere to company standards. Remediate non-compliant systems using SCCM features.
Reporting and Documentation:
Generate reports on software deployment, patch compliance, and other SCCM-related activities.
Document SCCM configurations, processes, and procedures.
Security and Endpoint Protection:
Configure and manage endpoint protection policies to safeguard systems from malware and threats.
Monitor and respond to security incidents using SCCM s security features.
Integration and Automation:
Integrate SCCM with other systems, such as Active Directory, for user and device synchronization.
Develop automation scripts to streamline SCCM processes and workflows.
Capacity Planning and Performance Optimization:
Monitor SCCM server performance, database usage, and resource utilization.
Plan for infrastructure scaling and optimization based on monitoring insights.
Change Management:
Follow change management procedures when implementing configuration changes and updates in SCCM.
