About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Sr. Linux Administrator (L2 & L3) to manage enterprise Linux infrastructure, handle complex technical issues, implement automation, and lead infrastructure and security-related projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Linux administration, automation, security, and project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and administer Linux servers at L2 and L3 levels.
- Monitor server performance, availability, capacity, and system health.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux, server, and network-related issues.
- Perform system configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Implement automation solutions to improve system efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Develop and maintain automation using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Ensure Linux infrastructure follows information security standards and best practices.
- Lead and participate in infrastructure implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.
- Coordinate with network, security, application, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system configurations.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to L1/L2 teams when required.

Primary Required Skills





- 10+ years of hands-on Linux Administration experience
- Robust expertise in Linux/Unix server administration
- Experience with L2 & L3 troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience in Linux automation and scripting
- Knowledge of information security practices
- Experience with server migration, upgrades, and infrastructure implementation
- Strong understanding of networking and server troubleshooting
- Experience with patch management and system hardening
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Shell/Bash scripting
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and virtualization
- Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery
- Experience working in enterprise/production environments
- Relevant Linux certifications such as RHCE/RHCSA would be an advantage.
